Boston
University’s programs in the culinary arts are offered through the
Office of Lifelong Learning, under the auspices of Metropolitan
College.
Committed to broadening the reach of the University to audiences of
all ages, the Office of Lifelong Learning presents a range of unique
programs and opportunities each year, including:
The
Evergreen Program for members of the community aged 58
and older
Cooking
Up Culture for school aged children
Seminars
in the Arts and Culinary Arts for both casual learners
and those with professional interest in the world of food,
wine, culture, and art
Certificate
in the Culinary Arts for those who currently work,
or aspire to work, as food writers, chefs, and restaurateurs
Wine
Studies for those interested
in gaining a greater understanding of wine production, the wine
industry, and wine drinking
Our commitment to delicious and enriching programming has drawn participataion
from luminaries such as Julia Child and Jacques Pépin, the founders
of our professional Certificate Program in the Culinary Arts
and our Master of Liberal Arts in Gastronomy.
