For a heart-pumping workout

The Boston University Masters Swim (BUMS) program provides early-morning swim workouts for competitors, as well as triathletes and fitness swimmers. The program is led by experienced coaches aiming to meet individual swimmers’ needs. Our team is a part of New England Masters Swimming (NEM) and United States Masters Swimming (USMS).

Participants should be proficient at three of the four competitive strokes: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle and be able to swim 500 yards in 10 minutes or less before enrolling. Boston University Masters Swim is open to all swimmers regardless of your affiliation to Boston University. If you are visiting the BU community or if you’d like to try a workout before joining, drop-in workouts are available at a cost of $12 per day.
