SUMMER CLASS SPOTLIGHT: Group Fitness Training

Lead by Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist, Chris Bernardo, this class will help you reach your individual fitness goals in a small group setting. Chris will assess your fitness needs and provide you with a personalized workout program tailored specifically for you. The class is limited to 15 participants and meets in the Fitness Center Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30. Class starts Wednesday, May 22 so sign up today!


CONTINUING EDUCATION

The FitRec at Boston University offers low-cost continuing education credits for AFAA Certified Fitness Professionals. Classes are taught by our fitness staff who are AFAA and ACSM certified and have Master’s Degrees in Exercise Science and Human Movement. All AFAA certifications require you to obtain 15 CEUs every 2 years to renew your certification and sometimes it is hard to fit them in; traveling to find workshops and the associated costs can add up quickly.

Each fall semester, Boston University offers a 16 week training course to prepare you for a national Group Exercise Certification. In addition, a Personal Training Certification is offered in both the spring and the fall semesters. PERSONAL TRAINING
Personal Training includes a wide variety of wellness services and packages to fit your individual needs. Personal Training provides 1-on-1 instruction under the supervision of one of our Certified Personal Trainers.

Clean sneakers exclusively for studio use are required for all fitness classes. No street shoes allowed!
