Fitness Weight Room Hours

Boston University has a 270,000 sf Fitness and Recreation Center built in 2005.  The Fitness Facilities include seven multipurpose rooms for activities such as group exercise, weight training and mind/body classes, etc. as well as an 18,000 sf two level Gerald Tsai Jr. Fitness Center. 

To keep FitRec looking as good as the day it opened, new cardiovascular equipment is continuously replaced to make your workout more enjoyable!

The Gerald Tsai Jr. Fitness Center boasts a variety of cardiovascular equipment including:
36 Precor treadmills
52 Precor crosstrainers
10 Precor AMTs (Adaptive Motion Trainers)
12 Precor bikes
5 Schwinn Aerdynes
4 Precor Steppers
4 Concept II Rowers
4 Scitfit Pro II bikes
2 Stairmaster Stepmills
5 Trixter X-dream Interactive bikes

It also houses several complete circuits of Hoist Roc-it, Precor, Icarian, Paramount and traditional Hoist selectorized and plate loaded equipment as well as free weight equipment.  The first floor of this fitness center includes 2 semi-private classrooms with selectorized, free weight and cardiovascular equipment as well as a cardiovascular rotunda area with access to cardio theater including 12 televisions.
