Summer School Vacation Camp

Looking for a fun day camp for your child?   Do you wish the camp was located closer to BU? Well, look no further!

The Summer School Vacation Camp has been established by the Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance and the Office of Family Resources to help parents provide a quality vacation time for their children during the public school summer break. This is a general recreational camp program for children entering Kindergarten through entering grade four. Camp activities include swimming, sports, arts & crafts, field trips, rock climbing and much more!

This camp must comply with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (105 CMR 430.000) and be licensed by the City of Boston Board of Health.

Program Dates

  • One-Week Pre-Camp Session : June 15 - June 19- spaces available
  • Session 1 : June 22 - July 2 (closed July 3) -full - no longer accepting applications for the waiting list
  • Session 2 : July 6 - July 17 -full - no longer accepting applications for the waiting list
  • Session 3 : July 20 - July 31 full - no longer accepting applications for the waiting list-
  • Session 4 : August 3-August 14- full - no longer accepting applications for the waiting list

8:30am - 5:30pm

Fee Information:

One-Week Pre-Camp Session:

FitRec Family Membership-$225
Non-Members - $240
Non-BU Affiliates - $270

Sessions 1, 2, 3 & 4 (Two-week sessions):

FitRec Family Membership - $455 per session
Non-Members - $480 per session
Non-BU Affiliates - $535 per session

50% deposit payment due two months prior to the start of camp in order to hold a space. Balance payment due one month prior to the start of camp.
