Water Polo
The
Women's Water Polo
Team is a Club Sport at Boston University. The club is
initiated and administered by the students under the direction
of the Department of Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance.
They are funded by undergraduate student fee allocations,
membership dues, and fund-raising revenue. (There are no athletic
scholarships for participants.) The team competes in the spring semester in the Collegiate Water Polo Association - North Atlantic Division. Membership is open to all
female students for both semesters. While no previous water
polo experience is necessary, participants should be strong
swimmers.
The Men's Water Polo Team is a Club Sport at Boston University. In it's second year after a nearly 10-year hiatus, the club has joined the Collegiate Water Polo Association in the New England Division. Administrated by undergraduate students and advised under the direction of the Department of Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance, the club is funded through student allocations, membership dues, and fund-raisering revenue. The men's team competes in the fall semester, but continues practice and non-conference play in the spring. Participants should be strong swimmers with high endurance.
