About Richard

I have been a Personal Trainer for the past 10 years. I am proudly Certified with Distinction through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. I am also certified in Exercise Nutrition through Precision Nutrition, Certified Group Exercise Instructor through AFAA, Certified Kickboxing Instructor through ISCA, Certified TRX Instructor through Fitness Anywhere and Certified Kettlebell Instructor through Kettlebell Concepts. My specialties include strength and conditioning, weight loss, body sculpting, core training, sport specific exercises, clients with unique needs, general fitness, and program design.

My goal as a Personal Trainer is to assess health status, motivate performance, set goals and train clients safely and effectively.
I feel that being a Personal Trainer allows me the opportunity to teach my clients about setting goals, the importance of good health and nutrition along with an exercise program designed to meet their objectives. Knowledge is power. When demonstrating the proper form and technique of an exercise, it is equally important to follow up with an explanation making the client more aware of their bodies and the implication of each exercise. It is important to me that my clients leave their sessions feeling good about themselves both inside and out. I believe an active lifestyle is a healthy lifestyle.
