Indoor Soccer League (CLOSED)
Fee: $50/team
Entry/Roster Deadline: 1/17 - 5:00pm
Captains Meeting: 1/23 - 6:00pm, FRC 220
Spring Indoor Soccer is the second most popular Intramural Sport. Register early as leagues ALWAYS fill before the deadline and always have a waiting list. Typically we will receive roughly 90 rosters for only 60-65 available spots. Games are played in the FitRec Center 3-court gym. Men's, Women's and Co-Rec divisions are offered. Teams must have a minimum of 6 players to register with 10 or more recommended. In the co-rec division, teams must have a minimum of 3 men and 3 women. Game Balls and pinnies are provided by the Intramural Department.
Wiffleball League (CLOSED)
Fee: $30/team
Entry/Roster Deadline: Extended to 1/30 - 5:00pm
Captains Meeting: TBA
Wiffleball is played in the Track and Tennis Center (TTC) throwing area on weeknights. This is real wiffleball, so no base running here. Men's, Women's, and Co-Rec Divisions are offered and teams must have a minimum of 3 players to register with 5-6 recommended. Each team plays two self-officiated games per night. Balls and Bats and balls are supplied by the Intramural Department but feel free to bring your own as long as they haven't been modified in any way.
Ice Broomball League (CLOSED)

We still have some spots open for Ice Broomball so we are giving folks some more time to register! Those who registered prior to 2/1 will attend their captains meeting on 2/7. Those who register after 2/1 will attend their captains meeting on 2/26.

Broomball is the most popular BU Intramural Sport..Don't believe me? Check out this video or this BU Today Feature Register early as leagues ALWAYS fill before the deadline. Games are played on the ice in Walter Brown Arena. The league is all Co-Rec and teams must have a minimum of 6 players to register, 3 men and 3 women. Teams wear sneakers and an ice hockey helmet while they run on the ice and try to score goals by hitting a ball into an oversized goal with sticks that resemble old wicker brooms. You will laugh, you will fall, and you will have a blast. Helmets, sticks, and pinnies are provided by the Intramural Department.
5 on 5 Basketball League (WAITLIST)
Fee: $50/team
Entry/Roster Deadline: 1/25 - 5:00pm
Captains Meeting: 1/30 - 7:00pm, FRC 222
BU Intramural 5 on 5 basketball is played in the FitRec Center 4-court gym and spots are limited so sign up early! Men's, Women's, and Co-Rec divisions are offered. Teams must have a minimum of 5 players to register with 8-10 recommended. In the Co-Rec division, a team must have a minimum male-to-female ratio of 3:2 on the court at all times. Make sure your team has some subs, you're not in as good of shape as you used to be!

Spring Softball is 10 on 10 and is open to students, faculty, and staff. Men's, Co-Rec, and Women's divisions are offered. In the Co-Rec division, a team must have a minimum male-to-female ratio of no more than one on the field. Games are slow pitch and a restricted flight ball is used. Game balls and bats are provided by the Intramural Department. We play in nearly any weather so bring your snow pants as we are at the mercy of the ever-changing New England weather. Register early as leagues generally fill before the deadline

Kickball Tournament (CLOSED)

Intramural Kickball is a one-day tournament and is open to students, faculty, and staff. Men's, Co-Rec, and Women's divisions are offered. Teams will have either 6 or 7 players in the field and rules will function very similar to a softball game in regards to base running and number of outs. In the Co-Rec division, a team must have a minimum male-to-female ratio of no more than one on the field. Teams will pitch to themselves and receive a maximum of three attempts to get a ball into play.

Volleyball League (CLOSED)
Fee: $45/team
Entry/Roster Deadline: 1/25 - 5:00pm
Captains Meeting: 1/30 - 6:00pm, FRC 222
BU Intramural Volleyball is played in the FitRec Center 4-court gym. We'll supply the ball but bring your own knee pads and a tall friend or two. Our brand of volleyball is pretty much just as you remember it...six on six, sub either individually or through the back line. Co-Rec games feature a rule where a player of each sex must contact the ball at least once prior to volleying the ball back over the net.
Dodgeball Tournament (CLOSED)
Fee: $30/team
Entry/Roster Deadline: 4/10 - 5:00pm
Captains Meeting: 4/11 - 6:00pm, FRC L132
The BU Intramural Dodgeball tournament will be held on Sunday, April 14 starting at Noon. The men's tournament will be first followed by the Co-rec tournament and the women's tournament. Each team will play a three game match against every other team in their pool. The top teams from pool play will advance to a single elimination bracket. Games are 6 on 6, but teams may carry a maximum of 10. All teams must be available for the duration of the tournament or until their team is eliminated, whichever comes first.
Swim Meet (CLOSED)
Fee: $5
Entry/Roster Deadline: TBA
Captains Meeting: Immediately preceding the start of the meet on the pool deck.
The Intramural Swim Meet is a fun night of swimming in a very relaxed environment. Numerous distances and disciplines are offered and swimmers of all skill levels are encouraged to join and try them all! Registration and sign-ups are only accepted at the captains meeting prior to the meet. You can not register online for this event.
