EMS OperationsRequesting EMS staff for your EventFirst Aid coverage for your event by BUEMS staff can be arranged for any department, student group, or individual hosting an event on campus. EMS is required for all events located at the Sargent Activity Center, Case Athletic Center, Walter Brown Arena, Nickerson Field, Agganis Arena, the Fitness and Recreation Center, and the Track and Tennis Center. We already provide EMS coverage for Boston University Academy, Agganis Arena, and events as Commencement. You can make your request for EMS coverage by opening the link below. We will confirm that we have a staff member scheduled for your event and will send you an invoice for the coverage. The charge for EMS coverage at an event is $21/hr for a Boston University affiliated group and $26/hr for a non-affiliated group. There is a two hour minimum charge for coverage. Requests must be submitted one week prior to event to guarantee EMS coverage. All of our staff members are certified EMTs in the state of Massachusetts.
