The BU Cycling Club competes as a member of the Eastern Collegiate Cycling Conference (ECCC), which is one of ten collegiate conferences managed by USA Cycling. Several team members are nationally ranked collegiate racers. The BU Road Team begins training in October. The season begins in early March and runs through the beginning of May. The BU Mountain Team has a short, but highly competitive fall season, beginning in September and ending in October.
BU Cycling holds regular rides open for undergraduate and graduate students of all skill levels.
The club meets at 9:00am on Saturdays and Sundays at Marsh Chapel.
"Boston University Cycling consists of a group of dedicated riders interested in reaching their own competitive goals, making a presence in the cycling community, and expanding that community to the students of Boston University. The members’ talents range from cutting corners of a criterium race at 25 mph, navigating the slippery slopes of the mountain, or performing tricks in front of Marsh Chapel."
Any students interested in joining the team should contact a Club Officer for more information.
