Bellybeat Dance Company presents: “FIVE” on Sunday, May 7 at 6 pm.

Bellybeat Dance Company is thrilled to return to the stage with “Five”-a very special reunion show. Founded by Christina Ackley (Odella) in 2009, the company will present its fifth full-length production at the BU Dance Theater May 7th, 2017. “Five” features a mixed repertoire of several dance genres including belly dance, modern dance, fusion, contemporary, and bachata fusion! If you’ve missed the company’s past productions, “Five” is a wonderful opportunity to see both new and old works showcasing the Bellybeat Dance Company’s wide-ranging talent.

For this show, Ackley has selected words that inspire the choreography and that characterize the amazing performers who are taking part in this special night: F-free, I-imaginative, V-vivacious, and E-elegant. Don’t miss this unforgettable evening featuring amazing local guest artists: Hanan, Yael, Melina, Kaylin, and Christina’s modern dance students from the North Shore Performing Arts Center. In addition, Bellybeat is incredibly honored to host an out-of-state guest performer, and a past crowd favorite, Irina of NYC. This season the company has their largest cast yet with 29 performers poised to take the stage.
