The Massachusetts Gilbert Grant is funded by the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts and is offered by the University to Massachusetts
residents who meet
financial need and other eligibility criteria established by the
Commonwealth.
The Massachusetts Part-Time Grant is funded by the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts and awarded by Boston University to Massachusetts
residents who enroll on a part-time basis and who meet financial need
and other eligibility criteria established by the Commonwealth.
These awards are provided by your state of residence. Amounts indicated
on an initial Financial Aid Award notification are estimated on the
basis of information on the FAFSA and PROFILE. You must meet enrollment,
financial need, and any other criteria established by your state of
legal residence.
If you do not apply for and thus do not receive state grant
funds for which you are otherwise eligible, they will not be replaced
with
Boston University
funds.
Most states provide grant programs for eligible residents. However,
many states do not allow their awards to be used at colleges and universities
