Boston University Grant is provided to students who meet all eligibility
criteria for need-based financial aid. Academic performance
is also a key factor in determining whether a candidate will be offered
Boston University need-based grant.
These awards may be replaced at any time by University funds from endowed
sources to meet fund restriction requirements.
Renewal criteria: Students must satisfactorily complete
at least 12 credits each semester, achieve a minimum grade point average
of 2.30 for the prior academic year, and meet all other eligibility
criteria.
Contingent Grant is awarded for one semester to enrolled students
who have failed to meet academic criteria for renewal. Students granted
this
award must participate in an academic support program and live in
University-owned housing.
Renewal criteria: Contingent Grant recipients must
satisfactorily complete at least 12 credits and achieve a minimum
grade point index of 2.30 for the fall semester to have the same amount

Supplemental University Grant is awarded to students who meet criteria
for need-based financial aid and also live in University-owned housing
on the Charles River Campus.
Renewal criteria: Students must satisfactorily complete
at least 12 credits each semester and achieve a minimum grade point
average of 2.30 for the prior academic year.
