Technology Development Award Program

Invitation: To all Boston University faculty.
Event: Award Program Kick-off and Reception.
Sponsor: Boston University Community Technology Fund (CTF).

Place: Faculty/Staff Dining Room, in the George Sherman Union
Synopsis: CTF is launching a new program to assist Boston University faculty with technology commercialization, in both licensing opportunities and spin-out companies.

The Technology Development Award Program aims to bridge the funding gap between basic science and the more developed technologies usually required by commercial entities.

Typical awards range from $20,000-$50,000. In exceptional circumstances, awards of up to $100,000 would be considered.

A discussion of technology-based start ups will take place in addition to the announcement of the Award process, selection criteria, etc. Speakers will include:
