To the Members of the Boston University Community in the United Kingdom:

The tragic events related to the recent terrorist activities in London have shocked and saddened the entire Boston University community.

We have been closely monitoring the situation as it has developed and have been in contact with students, faculty, staff, and alumni who could have been directly affected by this attack. We are pleased to report that all of our students who are taking classes in London are safe and accounted for. To date, we are unaware of any other members of our Boston University family who have been directly affected by the tragedy.

The University’s medical, counseling, spiritual, and other student support services will remain available to serve students who may need them. In addition, students, faculty, staff, and alumni who have particular concerns or questions related to the tragedy are encouraged to contact the office of either the President, the Dean of Students, the Provost, or the Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations.

We speak for all of Boston University in expressing our deepest sympathies to the victims and families affected by this tragedy. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Sincerely,
