The John Templeton Lectures on Freedom, Markets,
and Economic Justice
Featured 3 to 11 December
The Templeton Foundation is sponsoring a two-semester
seminar course here at BU, taught by Professors Glenn Loury
and Alan Wolfe. The course explores the question of whether
economic and political freedom lead to "progress" toward a
more just society. As a part of this course, periodic lectures
are given in the evening by prominent intellectuals and civic
leaders that are open to the public.

of fine art photography presents works by artists from the
region and abroad, representing the history and future of
the medium, in an event that benefits New England's only center
for creative photography. Live Auction: December 10th at the
