Log into our Second Life island to experience a clinic where the New Model has been implemented. Enter 4 clinic examination rooms where you can view an animation demonstrating each of the 4 antenatal visits comprising the New Model. Stay tuned to this webpage for a schedule of real time events occurring at the conference center in SL, including lectures and case presentations by clinicians who have successfully implemented the new model in their clinics, hospitals, and countries. |

| Implementing the New Model of Routine Antenatal Care |
This course is for policy makers, and managers responsible for improving and redesigning clinical systems. The course will review the components of the New Model, and guide managers through the process of planning for, and implementing change resulting in adoption of the New Model in their clinic, hospital, health care network, region, province, or country. The course will enroll up to 20 participants as a group, includes interaction with a faculty member and with other enrollees, and will require approximately 2.5 hours per week over 5 weeks. A WHO/Boston University certificate is awarded upon completion. |

| New Model of Routine Antenatal Care (condensed) |
This course will introduce the basic concepts, evidence, and content of the New Model. The course can be started at any time, and is completed individually. Expect to spend about 1.5 hours per week over 4 weeks. A WHO/Boston University certificate is awarded upon completion |

| Becoming a WHO eProfessor: Basic Principles of Moderating Online Course Discussions |
This is a “train the trainers” course to prepare clinician-educators to teach the online course described above for managers and policy makers on how to implement the new model within their health care systems. The course is taught online by a faculty member, and you will learn eLearning techniques including how to moderate online discussion groups. Certificate provided. |
Clinician-educators involved in disseminating the New Model and others interested in acquiring the skills to facilitate interaction between learners in online courses. |

| Bleeding in Pregnancy |
This mini-course will fully train you in the use the guideline in the PCPNC on identification and management of bleeding in pregnancy (before, during or after labor and delivery). One to 1.5 hours per week for 4 weeks. Certificate provided. |

| Sepsis and Malaria |
This mini-course will fully train you in the use of the guidelines in the PCPNC on diagnosis and management of serious infection in the antenatal period. One to 1.5 hours per week for 4 weeks. Certificate provided. |

| Pre-Eclampsia and Eclampsia |
This mini-course will fully train you in the use of the guidelines in the PCPNC on diagnosis and management eclampsia and pre-eclampsia. One to 1.5 hours per week for 4 weeks. Certificate provided. |

| Rapid Assessment & Management of Women of Childbearing age |
This mini-course will fully train you in the use of the guidelines in the PCPNC on diagnosis and general management principles of emergencies in pregnancy. One to 1.5 hours per week for 4 weeks. Certificate provided. |
