About the Faculty

Jeremy Golding, MD, FAAFP

Dr. Golding is associate professor of family medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and inpatient director for the department of family medicine at UMass Memorial Health Care in Worcester, Massachusetts. He is also co-chair of the UMass Memorial Health Care Heart Failure Task Force.

John Wiecha, MD, MPH

Dr. Wiecha is the Director of Predoctoral Education and Direction of eLearining in the Department of Family Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. He received his MD from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and M.P.H from the University of Massachusetts. He completed residencies in Family Medicine and in Preventive Medicine at the University of Massachusetts.

Dr. Wiecha has received a number of awards and fellowships, including the American Cancer Society Cancer Control Career Development Fellowship, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Generalist Physician Faculty Scholars Award, and the University of Massachusetts Fellowship in Asian-American Studies. Dr. Wiecha has developed a number of distance education courses, including courses on diabetes, EBM, and communication skills, and is currently helping the World Health Organization develop a world-wide training program on antenatal care.
