Driving Directions

From the North:

1. Follow Route 1 (Via Mystic/Tobin Bridge) to Route 93 South
2. Take Exit 18 (Mass Ave.)
3. At traffic light, take right onto access road; stay in right lane
4. At end of access road, turn right onto Massachusetts Ave.
5. See below for local directions to our Department.

From Logan Airport:

1. Go through the Sumner Tunnel (Route 1A South) to Expressway South
2. Take Exit 18 (Mass Ave.)
3. At traffic light, take right onto access road; stay in right lane
4. At end of access road, turn right onto Massachusetts Ave.
5. See below for local directions to our Department.

From the South:

1. Take Expressway North (Route 93/3)
2. Take Exit 18 (Mass Ave.)
3. At traffic light, take right onto access road: stay in right lane
4. At end of access road, turn right onto Massachusetts Ave.

From the West:

1. Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (Route 90) East to end
2. Take Expressway South (Route 93)
3. Take Exit 18 (Mass Ave.)
4. At traffic light, take right onto access road; stay in right lane

From New York / Connecticut / Rhode Island:

1. Take Route 95 North to Route 93 North
2. Take Exit 17-18 (Mass Ave.)
3. Watch for signs
4. At the second traffic light, take right onto access road; stay in right lane
5. At end of access road, turn left onto Massachusetts Ave.

To The Top

The Department of Family Medicine is located on the South side of the 5th floor of the Dowling Building.

If you enter from:

Emergency Room entrance (on the corner of Albany and Massachusetts Avenue) - Look for sign immediately on the left that will lead you to teh Dowling Building. TAke the South (B) elevators to the 5th floor and walk straight back into the department.

ACC Building (on the corner of Harrison and Massachusetts Avenue) - See Duinkin Donuts and DeAngelo's on left. Walk straight back to the very end of the building (until you can't go any further). Take the South (B) elevators to the 5th floor and walk straight back into the department.

Inpatient Building (Harrison Avenue) - Take a right through the doors and look for a hallway on the left (after the rest rooms). Follow that down to the end and take a right (the Emergency Room check-in is on the left and there will be a sign that says "Dowling Building" on the right). Take the South (B) elevators to the 5th floor and walk straight back into the department.
