Arturo Aguilar, M.D.
Arturo graduated from NH-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency in 2009 as New Hampshire Academy of Family Physicians resident of the year. Prior to this he attended Meharry Medical College in Tennessee for medical school graduating as Tennessee Academy of Family Physician medical student of the year. He completed his undergraduate education at University of Arizona in 2002 majoring in Veterinary Science. He was raised in Los Angeles California and Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He is very active in his local church as well as community outreach projects. He enjoys skiing, snowboarding, fishing, and volleyball.
John Hyden, M.D.
Born in Memphis, TN, John Hyden joins BMC's Sports Medicine Fellowship with a degree in Biology and an MBA in Management from the University of Memphis. After graduating from medical school at the University of Tennessee in 2005, he completed his Family Medicine Residency in 2008 at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. During residency, John was involved in a number of activities, including serving as the Team Physician for Winston-Salem State University. John was elected chief resident, and was also voted resident of the year by Wake Forest faculty for 2007-2008. His hobbies include University of Memphis sports (Go Tigers), travel, and spending time with family. He has been married since January 2006 to Courtney who is a teacher and is also from Memphis.
