The Boston University Primary Care Sports Medicine Program offers a 1 month elective in sports medicine for resident. The elective involves patient care at our various orthopedic and sports medicine clinical sites, college and high school training rooms, and sideline game coverage. The resident will work closely with our sports medicine fellow, and will participate in sports medicine didactic sessions throughout the month. The resident will be expected to prepare, and present a case presentation prior to the completion of the rotation. This elective will be offered in September, October, November, February, March, and April. Preference will be given to those residents who are currently applying to our fellowship, and our own Boston University Family Medicine Residents. All other residents will be considered on a first come, first serve basis. Interested residents can contact Kathryn Kraemer at kathryn.kraemer@bmc.org. We request submission of a current CV, as well as a one page statement describing your experiences in sports medicine and at least 3 objectives for this rotation.
