Society of Teachers and Family Medicine Conferences
2008 Northeast Regional STFM Meeting, Oct 30-Nov 2, 2008
The Northeast Regional Meeting is a very student-oriented conference which includes many hands-on workshops, lectures, and a residency fair targeted toward the northeast region of the United States.
American Academy of Family Physician Conferences
National Conference of Family Practice Residents and Student Members
July 30 to August 2, 2008, Kansas City, MO; the national conference has a huge residency fair and many useful workshops for students. The entire conference is targeted to students and residents. Students find it especially helpful when they are beginning to apply to residency in their fourth year, but can go at any stage of their med school career.
