Family Medicine Clerkship
This
course is offered to third year BUSM students as part of the required
6-week Family Medicine Clerkship rotation. The course is designed
to improve students' skills in evidence-based medicine and medical
informatics, and to teach students about the diagnosis, management,
and prevention of a chronic disease. The asynchronous discussion
board provides opportunities for increased student interaction
and communication with peers and faculty, and provides a means
for students to be reflective as they describe their experiences
and reactions to patient care at their preceptor sites.
