Job Descriptions:
1. The Boston University Department of Family Medicine is recruiting for family physicians at several neighborhood health centers. Positions involve the full spectrum of family medicine clinical practice with an option to be involved in the care of the elderly and frail elderly in community and nursing home settings. The position includes teaching residents and medical students, and participation in the department’s inpatient program.
2. The Boston University Department of Family Medicine seeks a board certified Family Physician who is Sports Medicine fellowship trained and has experience providing primary care sports medicine. The position includes participation in our academic Sports Medicine group and full range of primary care sports medicine in a community health center. Experience working at a community health center and ability to speak Spanish are highly desired. We are committed to including more women and minority physicians in our faculty.
3. East Boston Neighborhood Health Center - Outpatient Practice
The Boston University Department of Family Medicine is seeking BC/BE family physicians to join our faculty practice at East Boston Neighborhood Health Center. Positions involve the full spectrum of family medicine clinical practice with an option to be involved in the care of the elderly and frail elderly, and participation in the department’s inpatient program, including maternity care. The position includes teaching involvement with the department’s residency and medical school curriculum, and opportunity for involvement in innovative care projects.
4. Dorchester House Multi-Service Center - Outpatient Practice
The Boston University Department of Family Medicine is seeking BC/BE family physicians to join our faculty practice at Dorchester House Multi-Service Center. Positions involve the full spectrum of family medicine clinical practice with an option to be involved in the care of the elderly and frail elderly, and participation in the department’s inpatient program, including maternity care. The position includes teaching involvement with the department’s residency and medical school curriculum, and opportunity for involvement in innovative care projects.
5. The Boston University Department of Family Medicine is recruiting faculty for primary care at a community health center site. This location is a well organized community health center, with a patient population that is culturally and economically diverse. This site is a new and modern community health center located in the Roslindale neighborhood of Boston.
Position offers the full spectrum of Family Medicine including care of young families, care of the elderly, and inpatient rounding. Maternity and Nursery Services are an option. Also, there may be options available to teach with Boston University’s School of Medicine and Family Medicine Residency Program. Close proximity to the many attractions of Boston.
6. B.M.C. Yawkey Ambulatory Care Center - Outpatient Practice
The Boston University Department of Family Medicine is seeking BC/BE family physicians to join our faculty practice at Boston Medical Center. The practice serves the multi-ethnic indigent families of Boston and its neighborhoods. Positions involve the full spectrum of family medicine clinical practice with an option to be involved in the care of the elderly and frail elderly in community and nursing home settings, and participation in the department’s inpatient program. The position includes teaching involvement with the department’s residency and medical school curriculum, and opportunity for involvement in innovative care projects.
