Employment Opportunities in the Department of Family Medicine
The Boston University Department of Family Medicine is growing and developing. As we strive toward our goals, we are seeking talented, compassionate and innovative people to join us. Open faculty positions include clinical and teaching time. These positions can be tailored to involve the full spectrum of family practice including OB/nursery and care of young families, and the care of the elderly and frail elderly (including in community and nursing home settings). Faculty practice locations include community health centers, the department’s medical center practice, and community hospital locations. We also seek family physicians interested in a concentration on hospital medicine. All faculty maintain teaching involvement with the department’s residency and medical school curriculum, and have opportunity for involvement in innovative care projects. We continue to seek an increasingly diverse faculty that better approximates our patients and particularly seek those from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, and those with additional language skills, especially Spanish.
