SUMMER CAMP

Summer camps usually begin toward the end of June and run throughout the summer. Camp programs usually do not accept children under the age of 4. Most programs begin their enrollment process in January. You may wish to perform your own search on the internet for summer camp programs in your area or to look through publications for camp advertisements, such as The Parents Paper. Included below are some websites you may find useful in your search for a summer camp program:

American Camp Association: www.acacamps.org
SummerCamps.com: www.summercamps.com
KidsCamps.com: www.kidscamps.com

The Office of Family Resources, in conjunction with the Department of Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (PERD), runs the Boston University Summer School Vacation Camp to help parents provide a quality vacation time for their children during the public school summer break. Please see FitRec's website at: http://www.bu.edu/fitrec/programs/family/camp.html for information, dates, and rates for this camp program.

The Office of Family Resources can assist you in your summer camp program search. Please complete the Referral Service Statement and return it to our office if you would like to receive information about this form of childcare.
