Family Resources
The Office of Family Resources is committed to helping families manage the challenges of work life and family life. Our office provides many resources and services to support families of the Boston University community.
Resources and services available through our office include:
- Referral service and resource materials for parents seeking childcare
- Information about how to find Boston University students interested in babysitting
- Educational programs co-sponsored with the Faculty/Staff Assistance Office
- School vacation programs for children in Kindergarten through fourth grade during the February and April school vacation weeks
- Recreational summer camp program for children entering Kindergarten through fourth grade during summer school vacation weeks
- Elder care resource materials
Announcements
- The Children’s Center is no longer accepting applications for the 2012-2013 school year. Parent Orientation sessions for the 2013-2014 school year will be held in October 2012. If you are interested in attending a Parent Orientation session for the 2013-2014 school year, please contact the Center, the last week of September 2012, at (617)353-3413, in order to sign-up for one of the orientation sessions. Please note, there is limited space available in these Parent Orientation sessions.
- Enrollment for the Summer School Vacation Camp is now closed and we are no longer accepting applications. If you have any questions about the Summer School Vacation Camp, please contact Rebekka Ericson, Director, at familyre@bu.edu.
