CURRENT STUDIES AT BOSTON UNIVERSITY

  • The Psychotherapy and Emotion Research lab is recruiting teenagers (ages 14-16) for a research study looking at the neural mechanisms behind teen anxiety and depression. Through the use of clinical assessments and an MRI scan, we seek to determine if measures of brain structure and function from neuroimaging can lead to more effective diagnosis and treatment in the future. Teens are compensated $345 and parents are compensated $75 for completion of the entire study. Any questions about the study can be directed to Megan Pinaire by phone at 617-358-2250 or by email at banda-bu@mit.edu
  • There may be an opportunity for insomnia treatment through a study for children 8-12 years old with anxiety. If you are interested in the study or hearing more information, please call the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CARD) at 617-353-9610 and say that you are interested in the sleep and anxiety study.
