Re:                             Proposed Change to the Faculty Council By-laws

Pursuant to Article XVI, Section 2 of the Constitution of the Faculty Assembly/Faculty Council of Boston University, the proposed change to the By-laws for the Constitution of the Faculty Assembly and Faculty Council, prepared by the Credentials and By-laws Committee, chaired by J. Robb Dixon, is presented to the members of the Faculty Council.

The Faculty Council will convene to vote on this proposed change on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, 3:30-5:00 p.m., in the Kenmore Conference Room, 1 Silber Way, 9^th Floor, Boston MA, 02215.

 

Proposed Language of II, Standing Committees and Elections Procedures and Rules, 2.1 Standing Committees, paragraph 2:

The Standing Committees of the Faculty Council are: Academic Freedom; Administrative Policies; Awards; Compensation and Benefits; Credentials and By-laws; Equity and Inclusion; Faculty Policies; Graduate Programs; Media/Communication; Research and Scholarly Activities; Student Policies; Teaching Resources; and Undergraduate Programs.
