Existing lab space was be renovated to accommodate a new chemistry hire. Two lab areas were combined to create a new larger lab and three smaller labs were converted into break room conference rooms for the department, a student study area, and two smaller labs. The space received new lab benches, fume hoods and HVAC equipment as well as mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. Existing pneumatic controls will be upgraded to DDC controls.
