100 Bay State Road – Construction Activity for the period March 24 – April 7

For March 24 through April 7 you may expect:
The tarp system, which enclosed the building for work during the winter, will be incrementally removed over the next few weeks as exterior walls are finished. Beginning the week of April 1st flooring installation will begin. The installation of the masonry façade and back-up components continues and once finished will result in a reduction of the noise from within the construction project site. When the scaffolding and tarp systems are removed in spring of 2012, the facade and glass system will be significantly advanced and will serve as a barrier for keeping the sound within the project site. The team of 200 + people working on site every day is working hard to make sure the schedule is met.
