100 Bay State Road – Construction Activity for the period December 17 – December 31

For December 17 through December 31 you may expect:
Until early spring all work on site will be conducted inside the tarped area, which will be heated so that work can continue through the winter month. The installation of masonry and back-up components of the facade system will result in a reduction of the noise from within the construction project site. Until then, we have asked project team to be cognizant that exams are going on and do their best to reduce noise levels during this period. When the scaffolding and tarp systems are removed in spring of 2012, the facade and glass system will be significantly advanced and will serve as a barrier for keeping the sound within the project site. In the next few weeks the installation of the building’s infrastructure will begin. This includes installation of mechanical systems, electric, plumbing and HVAC. Delivery of equipment for the infrastructure installation may have a slight impact on traffic in the area. Following the infrastructure installation, food services equipment will be installed for the dining facility on the bottom three floors of the building.
