If we’re doing our jobs well, you’ll have benefited from our work without noticing us. The Office of the Executive Vice President oversees the services that support Boston University’s faculty, staff, and students in sustaining our reputation as one of the world’s leading private research and teaching institutions.

We build, upgrade, and manage the labs for more than $300 million of research, the accommodation and study facilities for our 31,000 students, a medical center providing millions of dollars in free health care, and the 7,200-seat arena that’s home to our popular Terrier sports teams.

Our office helps give BU a strong financial foundation, as well as drive the expansion of two outstanding campuses in the heart of this great city.  We provide financial and operational support services that affect all members of the community.  Our guiding principle is to provide an effective foundation for the teaching and research mission of Boston University.
