Alexis Jenni and Boris Tavernier present their joint project - Women from Here, Kitchens from Elsewhere. It is a recipe book, illustrated with photographs, and drawings. The recipes are provided by fifteen immigrant women from the working-class districts of the Metropolis of Lyon.

Alexis Jenni's first published novel, L’art français de la guerre, won him the Goncourt Prize in 2011. He writes about the French colonial wars and the troubles linked to identity that agitate contemporary France.

Boris Tavernier is currently the director of VRAC, a purchasing group which distributes organic and local food products in working-class neighborhoods at an affordable price.
