Event Highlights: Christmas Market at Boston University

January 14th, 2013 in Event Highlights

During the fall of 2012, our graduate assistant reached out to all departments across Boston University, asking graduate and Ph.D students with interests or concentrations in European studies, as well as any Europeans on campus, to join us for a Christmas Market event.

On Tuesday, December 4th, nearly 40 students and faculty members gathered for traditional German Christmas cookies, gluhwein, kartoffelpuffer and cheer.

The Center is now planning a spring, Easter-themed event for this newly created group, and is exploring opportunities to deepen the cross-departmental connections as well as to provide students with the chance to expand their research through interaction with students and faculty in other departments pursing similar topics from different perspectives.
