Jonathan Schell

Jonathan Schell is the author of several books, the best known among them being The Fate of the Earth and The Village of Ben Suc. He has been a long term contributor to The New Yorker, where his reporting from Vietnam first appeared. He writes regularly for The Nation, Harper's Magazine, The Atlantic Monthly and Foreign Affairs, and has taught at Wesleyan, Princeton, Emory, and Yale, among other universities. He lives in New York City, where he is the Harold Willens Peace Fellow at The Nation Institute. His latest book is The Unconquerable World: Power, Nonviolence, and the Will of the People.
