Tutoring in Chemistry

The Chemistry Department, in collaboration with the Educational Resource Center, have made the following changes to the process of obtaining a chemistry tutor. Students who feel they are in need of a tutor in Chemistry will first need to obtain a Chemistry Peer Tutoring Request and Referral form and then meet with their professor to have this form signed.  This meeting with your professor is a chance to discuss the expectations of the course, receive guidance on how to succeed in the course, and an opportunity to forge an academic relationship with your instructors.  If it is decided that tutoring will be of benefit to you, your professor will sign the form.

The Chemistry Peer Tutoring Request and Referral forms can be found at the Chemistry Department main office at 590 Comm. Ave. Rm. 299, or at the ERC located on the 4th floor of the GSU.

*Please bring the completed and signed form back to the front desk of the ERC and your request for a tutor will be processed.
