Patrick Devanney | Retention Program Specialist

Patrick hails from Connecticut and is thrilled to finally call the Boston area his home. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Connecticut where he was highly involved with college radio all four years. He continued on to the University of Maine where he got involved with tons of kayaking and jaunts throughout Maine (including Vinalhaven where Glenn’s fondness of Maine lies) before graduating with his Master’s degree in Higher Education.

Like Michele, Patrick loves all the Boston teams. He also loves hiking, day trips, learning new facts about Boston and New England, and thinking about the chocolate he used to try when he worked for Cadbury.

Patrick meets with individual students to discuss their plans for success at BU and collaborates with Cecilia Lalama on mentoring programs and academic skills workshops.
