Miles Avila

Miles Avila

Miles is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying mathematics and statistics. In his free time, Miles enjoys discovering new music and making playlists, snowboarding, exercising, and watching movies and TV. Miles is also involved in the Community Service Center, BU Vegetarian Society, and BU’s chapter of Students of the World. After graduation in May 2015, Miles intends on earning his MA in statistics. Rashid Nelson

Rashid is a junior in the School of Management studying business administration with a concentration in marketing. In his free time, Rashid enjoys listening to hip-hop and R&B. He also enjoys watching and playing sports (especially basketball) and spending time with family and friends. After graduation, Rashid plans to work for a reputable marketing firm in the greater Boston area and potentially attend law school. Mike

Mike Parello

Mike is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying international relations with a minor in public health. Mike’s passions include traveling, skiing, cooking, and anything adventurous. Mike is also involved in the College of Studies Dean’s Host program, Global Public Health Brigades, and is Vice-President of Boston University’s chapter of Students of the World. After graduation, Mike hopes to pursue a master’s in public health and work to promote greater public health internationally.
