$30K Business Plan Competition

Supported by a variety of business partners, including Platinum Sponsor Brown Rudnick Berlack Israels, the Annual $30K Business Plan Competition provides students, as well as all Boston University alumni, with the opportunity to develop a solid business plan and to recognize the challenges and opportunities that await them as they start a new venture. We are dedicated to helping all business teams connect with funding sources that can provide the capital and hands-on leadership required to bring their idea to fruition.

Wednesday, April 11, 2007
During the competition each team presented its plan to a panel of outside judges consisting of venture capitalists and other distinguished members of the business community. Each team was given a maximum of 20 minutes to present their business plan followed by a 20-minute Q&A session conducted between the presenting team and the judges. The panel of judges considered the quality of the written business plan along with the ability of the team to successfully communicate the goals of their plan to the judges and the audience. This panel selected the winning team immediately following the competition.
