Lydia Leaning on Her Arms (in a theatre box) by Mary Cassatt

Willing Suspension Productions

Willing Suspension Productions is a student theater company within Boston University that specializes in producing seldom-seen English drama from the 15th and 16th centuries. Established and run by graduate students within the BU English Department, the troupe has spent over 15 years giving full theatrical stagings to the oft-neglected masterpieces of Shakespeare’s contemporaries, offering audiences a unique opportunity to see live productions of plays by authors such as Christopher Marlowe, Ben Jonson, and Thomas Middleton.
