City Planning and Urban Affairs course UA 664 Planning and the Development Process with host guest speaker Meredith Christensen, First VP, CBRE/New England. Cities are the result of decisions made by governments, business leaders, and citizens. This discussion will focus on how these decisions get made in the private sector from the real estate investor’s point of view. Topics will include: the development cycle from 1980 through the present, supply/demand metrics, industry diversification, talent recruitment and expanding urban ring. The primary cities for discussion purposes will be Boston and Cambridge. This lecture is open to the #BUCPUA community.
