Banned Books Week: Silenced Voices and Stories in Africa

Join us in the African Studies Library for a panel discussion exploring past and present voices silenced across the continent. Panelists will include Timothy Longman, director of the Institute on Culture, Religion, and World Affairs (CURA); Ellery Roberts Biddle, Advocacy Director for Global Voices; Meskerem B. Girma, chairperson of The Baalu Girma Foundation; and Godwin Nnanna, President of Nigerian American Multi-Service Association (NAMSA).
