Our search for an Assistant Professor in American Drama/Film has been suspended, due to budgetary constraints. This position will now be redefined as solely in Nineteenth-Century American literature (the other half of the original job description); that search continues.
I. Assistant Professor in Nineteenth-Century American Literature The Department is seeking to fill a position starting in September 2010 (pending budgetary approval) in Nineteenth-Century American Literature (desirable sub-fields include hemispheric American studies; ethnic or minority literatures; women’s studies). Lecturer in Modern Drama The Department of English at Boston University seeks an instructor to teach EN 355 (Modern Drama: Theatre history from 1870 to 1920) or EN 356 (Contemporary Drama: Modern drama and theatre history from roughly 1920 to the present) for the Spring semester, 2010.
