A minimum of 144 credits is required and all of the program-specific requirements for both programs must be met. Students can apply to this program once they have achieved sophomore standing if they have at least a cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Double Majors

Early Consideration for Master’s Degree programs

Current BU Seniors may apply for Early Consideration to the Master of Science or Master of Engineering degree programs, without GRE’s, in the fall of their senior year and receive an expedited review and admission decision. Students who apply by the September 28th deadline will receive a decision by October 20th. Students with a GPA of 3.40 at the end of Junior year qualify for ‘automatic admission’ to a master’s program in their current department.
