Bioethics Society This nonpartisan organization promotes awareness and discussion of the ethical issues arising from advances in science and medicine.
Career Development Office Students, faculty and employers can get more information on summer jobs/internships, research opportunities and careers.
CELEST (Center for Excellence and Learning in Science & Technology) CELEST reaches undergraduate and graduate students, students in Boston-area public schools, and thousands of students in New England who participate in summer programs at Boston University.
Energy Club The Energy Club serves as the link between scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs to synthesize energy-related ideas from a multi-disciplinary stream of educational and professional sources.
Engineers Without Borders BU Chapter of a non-profit humanitarian organization established to partner with developing communities in order to improve their quality of life.
LEAP (Late Entry Acceleration Program) LEAP enables working professionals without academic backgrounds in engineering to earn graduate degrees in the field.
Manufacturing Engineering Distance Learning Program MFG degree program classes taught via videoconferencing or online
MCSTEMP (Massachusetts Consortium of Science Technology Engineering and Math Programs) MCSTEMP unites the Massachusetts GEM schools and promotes engineering among underrepresented groups.
Minority Engineering Society The society's mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible minority professionals who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.
National GEM Consortium The National GEM Consortium seeks to increasing the participation of underrepresented groups (African Americans, American Indians, and Hispanic Americans) at the master's and doctoral levels in engineering and science.
NEAGEP (Northeast Alliance for Graduate Education and the Professoriate) The NEAGEP Program Office is a resource for the BU community that assists with promoting access to graduate programs in science, mathematics and engineering for underrepresented groups.
Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers HPE's mission is to promote the development of Hispanics in engineering, science and other technical professions to achieve educational excellence, economic opportunity and social equity.
Society of Women Engineers The SWE mission is to encourage women to achieve potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving quality of life and demonstrate the value of diversity
SAGE (Student Association of Graduate Engineers) SAGE is involved with Technology Entrepreneurship Night, the Entrepreneur Design Contest, and New England Regional competition during National Engineers Week.
Women in Science & Engineering WISE provides opportunities for women faculty and graduate students in science and engineering to network, mentor, access and leadership training.
