| Jumpstart |
At Jumpstart BU, we pair 45 motivated college students (called Corps members) with at-risk preschool children. For an entire year, Corps members are on a mission - ensuring their partner children enter Kindergarten prepared to succeed. They learn to analyze the children's writing, read stories in ways that build vocabulary and comprehension, and fingerpaint in ways that improve the children's language and literacy abilities. Put simply, CMs have the pleasure of seeing their hard work transform lives.
