New Alumni Officer

In early March, the College of Engineering appointed Lindsey Rabold as the new alumni officer for the College. Lindsey holds a B.S. in Business Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh and will work with Stephen Witkowski on improving and extending the College's relations with its alums.

"I decided to move to Boston to be closer to my family," Lindsey explains. "It is very exciting to be working in the Development and Alumni Relations Office at the College of Engineering. I am really looking forward to reuniting engineering alumni and bringing them back to campus to see all of the amazing developments that have taken place here over the years."

Before joining ENG, Lindsey was a Campaign Coordinator for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Her responsibilities included organizing and coordinating fund-raising events for leukemia research and patient aid. This past summer, however, Lindsey decided to try being a participant in one of her events rather than the coordinator. She took part in the Mrs. T's Triathlon in Chicago, Illinois, to raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training program. "It was a very rewarding experience," she says.

Lindsey has international experience as well. As a student, she spent a summer in Argentina and traveled with the Semester at Sea, a study-abroad program designed to incorporate a global perspective in the daily academic curriculum.

We encourage you to contact Lindsey with your comments or suggestions. She can be reached at engalum@bu.edu or at 617-358-0500.
