Class Notes Ricardo Simonelli ('62) of Monroeville, Pa., retired from his position as engineer at Westinghouse, and now works part-time as a tax consultant at H&R Block. John practices plastic surgery and was recently appointed program director of the prestigious aesthetic surgery fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. Juan Jose Diaz-Colocho ('85) of San Salvador, El Salvador, worked at the Lincoln Labs' electromagnetics center at MIT after earning a master's at Northeastern University in 1988. He then returned to El Salvador to work at his family business, Diaz Colocho Hermanos, a hobby shop retailing novelties, toys, and automobile accessories. Juan introduced a line of lighting fixtures for residential, commercial, and industrial complexes, and has since completed more than 1.5 million square feet of lighting projects for settings ranging from small apartment complexes to the largest commercial mall and sports field in the country. Colman ('88) of Brunswick, Maine, is currently serving as the operations officer for P-3 Orion Patrol Squadron eight, based in Brunswick. George Hambel ('90) of Breinigsville, Pa., has been living in eastern Pennsylvania since 1992 with his wife, Lois. They have three children: Georgie, 5; Benjamin, 2; and Jacob, 4 months. James Lee ('90) of Palos Verdes Peninsula, Calif., is director of business development at Houston Fearless 76, Inc., in Los Angeles. James also received a naval reserve officer commission as an engineering duty officer and is now commanding officer of an explosives outload team at Naval Weapons Station, Seal Beach, Calif. Siubhan McCabe Bongiovanni ('91) of Chittenango, N.Y., received a doctorate in veterinary medicine from Tufts University in May 2000 and since then has worked for the Chittenango Animal Hospital. Fletch Wason ('92) of Scituate, Mass., writes, "After 10-plus years performing biopharmaceutical research, I have hung up the scalpel and dumped the electrophys rigs for Visual Basic, Perl, JAVA, and SQL! I'm now a software engineer (no more biomed) for Sun Microsystems and trying to wrap myself around Solaris." Fletch's daughter, Erin, just celebrated her second birthday.
