The Scientific Computing and Visualization (SCV) group, part of Boston University Information Services & Technology, will offer a series of tutorials on programming, high performance computing, and scientific visualization. These tutorials are free and open to all members of the Boston University community.
Computing Tutorials for the BU Administrative Community
Information Services & Technology offers training classes throughout the year. Their offerings include many popular applications including:
- Web: Covers BU’s WordPress Content Management System.
- Courseware: Covers Blackboard courseware system
- UNIX/Linux: Topics include Perl and SAS/SPSS statistics programs
- SCV: Topics in Scientific Computing and Visualization
- Desktop Applications: Includes Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- Mainframe & Administrative: Covers administrative, academic, and financial systems in the University mainframe (Galaxy)
