The Scientific Computing and Visualization (SCV) group, part of Boston University Information Services & Technology, will offer a series of tutorials on programming, high performance computing, and scientific visualization. These tutorials are free and open to all members of the Boston University community.

Information Services & Technology offers training classes throughout the year. Their offerings include many popular applications including:

  • Web: Covers BU’s WordPress Content Management System.
  • Courseware: Covers Blackboard courseware system
  • UNIX/Linux: Topics include Perl and SAS/SPSS statistics programs
  • SCV: Topics in Scientific Computing and Visualization
  • Desktop Applications: Includes Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • Mainframe & Administrative: Covers administrative, academic, and financial systems in the University mainframe (Galaxy)
